Cajal Academy is a small, innovative K-12 school located in the heart of historic South Norwalk, Connecticut and accessible by train from NYC and points throughout the region.
We work with students whose strong analytical reasoning and/or creative thinking skills naturally lead them to see the world differently, and we give them the skills they’ll need in college and beyond to turn those unique visions into reality.
Meanwhile, our ground-breaking approach to special needs, available only at Cajal, reduces or even removes learning and in some cases social-emotional and/or neurophysio difficulties that other settings can only accommodate. This research-backed approach transforms student lives while reducing the long-term costs of the child’s education.
The result is a full service school that meets inherently innovative thinkers where they are and propels them forward, within a nurturing environment and with a neuroscience-based curriculum that empowers kids to optimize their own learning, social and emotional experiences.
At our Information Session, you’ll learn about what makes this cohort of kids so unique educationally, and how the data in your child’s neuropsychological and neurophysiological profiles explains why they do what they do—and how we can use that information to help them overcome task avoidance and both access and prepare for a future defined by their strengths. And you’ll get a tour of our historic, 100 year old (but new to us!) home in the center of South Norwalk’s exciting downtown.
